Description
Company Description:
Rocky Mountain Veterinary Services (RMVS) is a mixed animal practice founded in 2003 by Dr. Darby Sullivan. For over 20 years, we’ve built a reputation for compassionate, high-quality veterinary care grounded in integrity and strong ethical standards. As an independently owned practice, we focus on patient care without corporate pressure or quotas, within a supportive, close-knit team environment.
Our work is split between in-clinic care and mobile ranch calls, offering true variety day to day. With fully equipped mobile units, a brand-new facility, and 24/7 emergency services, we’re able to provide a high level of care both in the clinic and out in the field.
Located in the heart of the Gunnison Valley, we offer an unbeatable lifestyle with easy access to mountains, rivers, skiing, hiking, and wide-open spaces.
Role Description:
Your time will be split between in-clinic small animal appointments and mobile large animal/ranch calls, offering the opportunity to build a well-rounded and diverse skillset. You’ll see a variety of cases ranging from routine preventative care to more complex medical and surgical cases, both in the clinic and out in the field.
Our schedule reflects the realities of mixed animal practice- some days are predictable, others require flexibility and problem-solving. We also provide 24/7 emergency services, with after-hours care shared among the team as part of an on-call rotation.
What we offer:
$80,000-$120,000 + Production
- Mentorship available for new graduates
- Health insurance stipend
- Paid time off
- Continuing education allowance
- Flexible scheduling options
- Employee discount
- Simple IRA contribution
